Carmel Sinetar

Carmel Sintar is a multi-instrumentalist (mostly percussion), creator, performer, teacher, and actress.

Carmel performs as a percussion accompanist for various bands, and plays
in musical ensembles, among them – the women’s drumming band Rhythmenia, the New Orleans-style Speechless band in which she plays the “Washboard” and more …

Ms. Sintar also offers workshops and private lessons in percussion,
stage, and theater. For the past 4 years Carmel has been collaborating
with the Israeli percussion company “Kandu” by drumming on their special cajons and drums.

Carmel grew up in Israel and since the age of 20, started traveling
the world, learning drumming and music from great masters in – India,
Portugal, West Africa, Senegal, other countries in Europe, and more…
