Our unique ethnic "snare" drum has two percussion sides. One side wood, one side tin. When you play on the wooden side, you get a low pitch ethnic sound, combined with the vibration of the tin below. Turn it, and play the tin side; you get an open and distinct jazzy, snarly and fizzy "snare" sound.
